Anticancer Effect of Goat Milk Fermented by Lactobacillus Plantarum and Lactobacillus Paracasei

چکیده
Fermented milk proteins have been reported to be used for prevention and treatment of various diseases. This study was designed to investigate the anticancer effect of goat milk fermented by Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus paracasei. In vitro anticancer activity was studied using HeLa cell lines. HeLa cells were treated with milk hydrolysates and incubated at 37C for 4 h and the cell viability assayed by MTT (expressed as percentage over control) decreased with the concentration of goat milk hydrolysate. HeLa cells were treated with different (30-240 g of protein) concentration of goat milk hydrolysate and viability was assessed after 4h. It was observed that the cell viability decreased with increased concentration of goat milk hydrolysate.

Draft Genome Sequence of Lactobacillus plantarum Strain AY01, Isolated from the Raw Material of Fermented Goat Milk Cheese
Lactobacillus plantarum is an important probiotic that is isolated mostly from fermented foods. Here, we report the first draft genome sequence of L. plantarum strain AY01, isolated from the raw material of fermented goat milk cheese. This bacterium, with optimum growth at 30°C, has a G+C content of 43.68%.
متن کاملEffect of incubation time, inoculum size, temperature, pasteurization time, goat milk powder and whey powder on ACE inhibitory activity in fermented milk by L. plantarum LP69.
BACKGROUND Angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) plays an important physiological role in regulating hypertension. Lactic acid bacteria are known to produce ACE inhibitory peptides which can lower hypertension during fermentation. METHODS The effect of incubation time (0~36 h), inoculum size (3, 4, 5, 6 and 7%, v/v), temperature (25, 30, 35, 40 and 45°C), sterilization time (5, 10, 15, 20 and...
متن کاملProbiotics in foods not containing milk or milk constituents, with special reference to Lactobacillus plantarum 299v.
Lactic acid fermentation is the simplest and safest way of preserving food and has probably always been used by humans. Species such as Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Lactobacillus salivarius are common in the human mucosa, from the mouth to the rectum. In food, L. paracasei and L. rhamnosus are usually associated with d...
متن کاملFlavoring Production in Kamut®, Quinoa and Wheat Doughs Fermented by Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum, and Lactobacillus brevis: A SPME-GC/MS Study
This study identified the odor-active compounds and the qualitative characteristics of doughs from "ancient" grains flours fermented by lactic acid bacteria. For this purpose doughs made with quinoa and Kamut® flours have been produced and inoculated with strains belonging to the species Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus brevis and compared with fermented doughs...

The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of consuming dairy yogurt containing Lactobacillus paracasei ssp. paracasei (L. paracasei), Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis (B. lactis) and heat-treated Lactobacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) on immune function. A randomized, open-label, placebo-controlled study was conducted on 200 nondiabetic subjects. Over a twelve-week period, the tes...
